With the increasing expenses of groceries and food waste affecting the environment, being able to utilize groceries before they expire has become crucial for many.

Tupper is an inventory tracking app for managing food items in the fridge. The app notifies users when their food is about to expire and, with further development, Tupper hopes to also provide different logged recipes based on what is available.

objectives

I executed the UX designer’s vision of a raccoon with a chef’s hat to create a lighthearted narrative surrounding food waste. They went with a more cute feel over a corporate one to negate the connotation of trash, which raccoons are often associated by.
